Graphic design services

For traditional print projects, publications, and related design solutions, I’m your guy.

About me as a designer

My design career in New York spans over 25 years in branding and design agencies, in-house departments, and contract work. I’ve helped clients strategize messaging into coherent visual narratives in nearly all formats: reports, brochures, books, menus, identity systems, and training materials, among others. I’ve managed multi-author publications and collaborated on others (sometimes as a writer/editor or photographer).

I think my recent cookbook, which I designed, wrote, and photographed, is a great showcase of my multidisciplinary work.

I’m happy to help a client plan projects, including managing production schedules and hiring temporary staff. I understand and respond well to workflow and project management demands and take pride in meeting deadlines (while adding an occasional light touch of humor).

Among my strengths, I consider information architecture and content design to be standouts. I’m a critical thinker who enjoys offering actionable insights for a variety of clients and projects, especially in the financial services, legal, and cultural sectors. I majored in journalism and minored in psychology, both of which have served me well, especially in my role as an audience advocate. My rates are reasonable, and you can expect quality results every step of the way. Let’s chat about your project.

Clients include: UBS Financial Services, Mill Creek Capital, Morgan Stanley, Chadbourne & Parke LLP, The Global Fund, Narciso Rodriguez, Harman-Kardon, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
